1. Information stored locally
- Calibration values, Unit Converter favorites, selected conversion preferences, appearance preferences, and cached validated currency-rate tables.
- Tool availability and preference state needed to restore local app behavior.
2. What may leave the device
- When Currency is opened or refreshed, the app requests the latest reference-rate table from the disclosed Frankfurter endpoint; selected pairs and entered amounts are not included in that request.
- Apple system permissions may provide live camera, microphone, motion, heading, magnetic, torch, and light-related sensor inputs only while relevant tools are active.
- Support email and ordinary website server logs are handled by the relevant email and hosting providers.
3. Advertising, consent, and purchases
Build 43 keeps Google AdMob dormant: no Google advertising packages, AdMob identifiers, banner requests, or UMP forms are present.
No account, paid content, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are required for the disclosed Build 43 behavior.
4. What this app does not do
- Does not require a Project Calibrate account.
- Does not link analytics SDKs, Google advertising SDKs, or Google UMP packages in Build 43.
- Does not request App Tracking Transparency permission in Build 43.
- Does not send sensor readings, camera previews, microphone input, selected conversion pairs, entered amounts, favorites, calibration values, or settings to the developer.
- Does not save photos, videos, or audio recordings from measurement tools.
5. Your choices
- Use only tools you want to use; permission-gated tools can be denied or disabled through iOS settings.
- Delete the app to remove app-local preferences, calibration, favorites, and cache data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior.
- Avoid the Currency tool if you do not want a reference-rate network request.
