Age suitability for Great Chess

Expected questionnaire profile

• In-app controls: no parental-control feature and no age-assurance mechanism.
• Capabilities: no unrestricted web access, broadly distributed user-generated content, social-media capability, messaging or chat, or advertising.
• Mature, medical, sexual, and violent content: none. Chess captures are represented only as abstract board-state changes; the app does not depict injury, gore, weapons, or physical combat.
• Chance-based activities: no real-money or simulated gambling, loot boxes, prize system, tournament, leaderboard, or contest feature. Ordinary local chess matches are not presented as a separate contest or reward system.
• Based on the audited Great Chess 1.0 (1) release, these answers are expected to produce a 4+ global profile. The final rating remains controlled by Apple and may have region-specific equivalents.

Privacy and permissions

Great Chess is a paid, offline-first game. It stores preferences, saved games, and statistics locally; has no advertising, analytics, account system, developer cloud backend, online matchmaking, or public sharing service; and declares no protected device permission usage descriptions.

• The audited app target does not declare camera, microphone, speech, location, Contacts, Photos, Calendar, motion, Bluetooth, Health, or local-network usage descriptions.
• Optional privacy, support, attribution, and license links open in the system browser only after a user selects them; the app does not provide an embedded general-purpose browser.

Parents and guardians

Great Chess does not include accounts, chat, advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or network gameplay. Parents and guardians may use Apple Family Sharing, purchase controls, and Screen Time controls appropriate for the device user.
